>>12014706>I mean just be honest about it and openly state that it's all about studying on your own (as it ALWAYS is, school or not), instead of deluding kids about teachers being helpful.Teachers are crucial for efficient learning because they're there to provide a feedback loop.
Of course you have to do most of the work by yourself. Even the greatest teacher wont do it for you. I'm 100% sure teachers told that to every student hundred of times.
A teacher is there to make the process go faster, be more efficient and to make sure the quality is adequate.
Without the feedback loop the process of learning is subpar. It takes you longer, even multiple times longer because you have to figure shit on your own when you stumble upon something (not to mention the demanding psychological aspect of self-motivation which is far less effective than external motivation), you "don't know what you don't know" which makes you go into hard to break circles, you never know if you've learned something correctly and not just misunderstood something.
Maybe you are convinced teachers are useless because you've never learned how to properly work with a teacher?
