Wtf is wrong with my finger? When I extend my right wrist upward as shown in the video my middle finger is extremely weak at extending, however when my right wrist is flexed downward everything works fine. My left hand is perfectly fine however. This is extremely annoying because I have trouble typing, using a mouse, playing the piano, and even using a pencil in some cases. I jammed the finger a year ago and I'm not sure how it caused this. I got an MRI on the right hand and I have this description:

"There is mild thickening and intermediate signal of the collateral ligaments @ the third proximal interphalangeal joint"

"Intact flexor and extensor tendons. No evidence of fracture"

I went to a hand surgeon with these results and I showed her the video and explained the issue, and she basically said "I have no clue, sorry". Anyone here have any clue as to what this is? I feel like the doctor was either clueless or just didn't say anything because of liability fears. I think it could be "bowstringing" due to a bad pulley. If you have no clues as to whats actually going on, is there at least any advice on what I should do going foward?
