>>12014508Logically it was stupid. In water he had three dimensional freedom of movement. Up/down, left/right, forward/backward. On land his movement (and ours as well) is limited effectively to two dimensions (left/right, forward/backward). It took hundreds of millions of years to fix this with the evolutionary invention of birds.
