I didn't put much effort into it, merely studied whatever the university demanded from me while at the same time being completely occupied with suicidal fantasies. Now the degree is just a piece of paper with nothing substantial behind it. Apparently it helped me in my job application but other than that it's rather a burden. On the rare occasions where I manage to socialize, it only leads to ostracizing since math is being despised where I live. People are anti-intellectual and whenever I tell them I studied math they immediately see me as an autistic nerd.
