>>12012484>So, can I reasonably say that Neanderthal DNA is linked to intelligence?Neanderthals had the biggest brain volume from Homo genus - up to 1600mL.
Homo sapiens has 1400mL. If the volume was really linked to their intelligence is unknown to me.
"Asians" have the biggest average brain volume and intelligence in Homo sapiens, so I guess this can be the case.
Neanderthals were pretty clever and used all sources of food and materials - meat, ducks, mushrooms, plants, animal stomach contents, used wood, made ropes, etc.
They made first ropes 60(or 50, don't remember) thousand years ago.
I think we should focus on discovering which genes and environmental factors determine intelligence and then check how it is linked to Neanderthals.
