How can a trillion dollar market exist for sex that is 99% women explicitly selling sex acts to men for cash if all women were not implicitly selling sex to men (dating, pornography, modelling, marriage, association, sugar daddy, friendzone etc).

Such a market surely could not be possible without the market making activity of the non brothel/streetwalking/escort women?

My theory is that the vagina is the world's scarecest commodity, there's only one woman for every man, valuable women are increasingly hard to get with age, people want unused women, and women are incredibly expensive to make in both time and resources. I wondered if we could make women in a factory would that fix the shortage which causes wars, and all the world's waste or would it be like money where few just have a lot? Furthermore, I'd we engineered men to be very attractive and rich, would women still play the 80/20 rule. And if so, it means that there seems to be a fundamental problem here.

I argue monogamous society is the most successful, one where everyone has access to this resource untainted and can focus on other things. If women cannot control themselves how do we alter them to feel things like guilt, make them adhere to a single partner, and otherwise prefer monogamy to hypergamy? As if we did that successfully we could temporarily increase their numbers via artificial wombs and devalue them as a whole.

they tried to run monogamy as standard practice but due to societal factors it got outcompeted for several generations. I'm guessing that it would've taken a long time for it to really have "stuck" anyway because women going with the flow makes them less likely to get selected against
