The only thing that differs is that one is a corruption of your senses, while the other is a corruption of your sexuality. Still the same effect - both can reproduce, but are highly unlikely to do so. As for how natural such an effect would be, the answer is obvious. If by natural you meant something that is supposed to occur and is also supposed to be "left there" without evolution trying to cleanse it. If not then define what natural is supposed to imply.
