does integration actually have anything to do with summation of infinite slices of the area under the curve? it seems like its really just using tricks to find the antiderivative at two points. so essentially the entire limit notion is just an interesting question thats never solved. u cant sum infinite numbers of rectangles with no width, the solution to integration has nothing to do with this. so why do calc courses focus so much on this concept.
