over time promiscuity becomes a habit just like any other addiction and the dopamine levels flatten out to a high average (anticipatory dopamine increases, reward dopamine decreases), causing cognitive deficits and apathy. they have already committed themselves to the robotic existence by this point, an existence of running from problems.
thats the bulk of the cake, anything else is just icing, add whatever 'distant father' 'abused by male peer' you want, its all the same.
the exception is if your talking about feminine personality types which are not by necessity homosexual, and tend to have better prognosis than the abused since theyve just inhabited an unusual social niche but are otherwise completely natural (ie theyre kind of the 'nymph' class of spiritual guides)
