I would like to discuss non-determinism and the kicked harmonic oscillator. Does it indicate that there can be other examples of non-determinism in nature? If so, where?

Physicists won't want to discuss with you, if you are using that term.
Math has proven there is effectively no difference between determinism and non-determinism.
That's why physicists have coined the term indeterminism.

Would you mind briefly explaining this to me? I understand that determinism is basically causality: everything comes forth from the first singularity aka the BB. Non-determinism indicates that there are other 'causalities' at work. I am not a real scientist so forgive my philosophical jargon.

Instead of in a state a or b, you are in a state $x \in \mathcal{P}(\{a,b,c,d,\dots\})$ .
