Most in contemporary thought believe that capitalist realism has spread to such a degree that politics, thought, and alternatives beyond it are impossible. Modernism and postmodernism are over, and there's no really point in speculating on the economy because it is a hardwired piece of our entropic feedback loop of a culture. Sure, accelerationism is probably bs, and scientific advances may not push us out of it, but a study of economics leads nowhere. Read up and be more intelligent.
