i can just say I learned well much with the free course and prove with examples or by answering questions

if a fag came to me showing a certificte I'll just think: "ok he cheated the online quiz just for the kudos"

Not in any official capacity, it's a piece of paper. You can maybe leverage it in an interview. Then again, you might as well just lie a out that as long as you know the material. So in short, no. Dropping 50 bucks will probably motivate you to actually complete it a bit more though.

paying for one of these certifications is a joke. anyone who thinks they're worth having is a joke. but HR departments coom over them which means maybe it is in fact rational to pay for it because it's 50 bucks and might get you a job. i guess it's cheaper than college
