can you redpill me on cs meme? i read 80,000 hours blog and now considering a career in either CS or humanities, but just for the sake of effective altruism. fyi, i am okay with high school calc and elementary stats. is a career in IT still relevant or i will be doomed to become a code monkey competing with pajeets? what about ml/ai/data science meme? i have seen some threads discouraging people to get into it on this board, can you, please, elaborate why one should not go into IT? huge thanks!
