schizophrenia is the the next stage of humanity, Being able to see patterns where logic alone will not reveal them is priceless, Even communicating with 4D entities, I mean, yeah, it isn't a great trait now but the first people with blue eyes probably looked ugly as fuck. Schizophrenia and psychosis are not actually useful traits for functioning in the world, and they never will be. That said, psychosis is a spectrum, and probably milder forms of it will give you an advantage in certain areas, like art or research which requires high creativity.

Whatever you think of his music, Kanye is probably an example of this. Mania and other abnormally enhanced dopaminergic states (from drugs etc.) can increase creativity, drive, and belief in one's own potential.

This doesn't have utility if all you get from it is communicating with non-existent entities or believing things that just aren't true / have absolutely no evidence. You need a balance. Questioning established things is very far from full-on delusions and unwarranted paranoia.

t. descendant of schizophrenics with some symptoms but no delusions unless I take a lot of drugs

This is all true but these are probably the kinds of mutations that eventually do lead to useful adaptations. Schizophrenia/psychosis is just a massive overshooting. I think it's worth considering that some of the changes that are associated with it could also be associated with rational divergent thinking that serves as a net benefit.

Same for mild degrees of the autistic spectrum, etc. This kind of parameter nudging and trade-off adjusting, in the general case, possibly is how higher intelligence formed in the first place. It's a dead end for most, but a boon for some.

My iq has been going up by combining mindfulness with psychosis. I pay attention and free associate so maybe I'm doing better than I give myself credit for.
But wait. Can IQ even be measured this way? This doesn't sound like a study is reasonable.

Also, the tendency to just zone out when everyone else needs to be stimulated probably pays a factor. So if you can swallow the antipsychotic, prescribe meditation/exercise for depression and side effects than I think you can lead a better life. It is just a shitty position to be in because recovery is a statistical anomaly due to the paradoxical nature of the psyche of someone having been diagnosed. They're more likely to be paranoid which is part of personality and I think it's just a paradox to retrain your mind, and surrender that part which you deny to a greater thing. People in psychosis don't want to surrender and don't want to take meds so it makes the whole process very difficult. Also, there's no use of concentration meditation for attention problems which needs to be researched because I have no problem with it when I do my samatha, and this is not a popular contemporary meditation technique. Just follow the buddha's actual meditation instructions and nothing else for a few minutes. It leads to realizing things about attention. Maybe I'll post my mathematical samatha entry from a few days to give an example.

Pretty basic formula. You do samatha with your eyes open. It improves attention and memory and probably gives you a 10 - 15 point IQ boost.

The average dumbfuck obviously equates schizophrenia with a drooling lunatic
who must hear voices telling him to kill someone.
I'm not claiming there are no such cases. However, 99% of schizophrenia cases don't work like that. The condition is much more nuanced.
