I'm so confused on how to pick an interest/major. A lot of you guys seem to have an interest in a particular area of study moreso than other areas. How do you get to that point? I'm not just talking about stem, but for any degree or even non degree paths of life.

Is it the money? Some job in the future you really wanna do? Both? Just plain old interest in the topic? Bragging rights? I have no clue how you can decide on what you want to do before even doing it.
