/sci/ I need your experience.
I'm 20, poor, working a McJob with only a highschool degree because my boomer parents think college turns you trans.

1. Will student loans cover your cost of living abroad?
2. If I take out student loans (in America) get a masters in say Spain, and just stay in the EU can the US do anything if I don't pay them back?

Why you don't working while studying in college? I'm not American so I don't know Americans do this thing there but my friends also did work while in colledge.

If you’re a US citizen with any intention whatsoever of returning to your home country, absolutely. This is especially true in the case of federal loans.

If you want free college and scholarships aren’t an option for you, just join the Air Force for 4 years in an office job.

yes im doing it now

if the country has an extradition treaty with the US, and Spain surely does, then it might be possible. in any case, you would basically never be able to see your family or friends again if it were possible. also this is all a big IF, that's assuming you can get a work sponsor out of uni to stay in the country and also assuming being 100k in debt and being sued by private loan companies would hurt your visa renewal chances
