i want to believe the beirut explosion contributed to the derecho storms that rolled across midwest america last night
i dont have much to go off, but the distance between lebanon and the midwest is about 6000mi, and there was a difference of 6 days, which comes to 41.6mph.
The storm traveled 770 miles in 14 hours (55 mph) according to fox, who doesnt provide a source for their claim.
Does this discrepancy in speed suggest the assertion is wrong? I don't study the weather, so I have no idea if this is tinfoil or if theres something to it.
Thoughts?
