Economically, augmentation will be sold to all, at first only the military, the rich will have access to it but supply/demand will make avaible to all. The first Ford of transhumanism will out profit all others corps by magnitudes. I do see the necessity of a universal health care system that helps to make such technology avaible to all and I do see the threat that in the west social groups will hinder its progress, weakening the west structural hold on that tech, strengthening other powers.
