Graph on the right is what most countries did. They went into FULL lockdown, extinguished the virus in all places at once. IT WORKS! In some countries the virus is almost non-existent.
Graph on left is what America is doing. A state flares up. It goes into lockdown. Infected people don't like the lockdown so they go to another state. That state gets infected and flares up. That new state goes into lockdown.
The main difference is how long the virus lasts. As stated, other countries have dealt with the virus. It's America that's opted for a strategy that keeps the virus alive and kicking. But we only decided to go down this path because the President forced us. He forced the matter AFTER we attempted a full lockdown. America could have been like other countries with no virus. America could have been all done with lockdowns if not for the president's impatience. Ironic that his impatience for the virus to end is what's making the virus last longer. He's too stupid to understand that tho.
