Ask yourself the following questions:
Are you hypersensitive to touch, light or sounds?
Looking at the face of another person, do you feel overwhelmed or distressed, especially if said person is laughing or crying.
Do you have little interest in socializing with others?
If you don't, do you often feel that 1 you're emotionally distant and 2. that people react to stimuli in a way different from you.
If taken a intelligence test, was your IQ profile even or not?
Have you been diagnosed before with ADHD, SPD, Anxiety disorders, Borderline or Schizophrenia?
Do you notice details and in general small things that others overlook.
Do you feel less distress if you're on your own than in companionship with others/especially strangers.
People nowadays equate autism with social awkwardness. 20 Years ago they would have equated it with mental retardation. Autists are not necessarily socially awkward but nearly all autists feel elevated levels of distress in social interactions. The list applies to what I call "pure autism". It does not mention comorbities.
