Greg Egan has some really great books if you're autistic enough to enjoy scifi that reads like a physics textbook, especially his Orthogonal and Dichronauts series are autistic as fuck but very enjoyable. He has a bunch of supplementary material on his website that should give you an idea of what you're in for, like
https://www.gregegan.net/ORTHOGONAL/ORTHOGONAL.htmlAlastair Reynolds is also pretty decent, especially the first Revelation Space book and the spinoff books, but the main series kinda suffers in that he comes up with tons of interesting ideas and plot threads but about three quarters of the way though realizes that he's getting tired of writing it and still can't figure out any way to weave it all back together to a satisfying conclusion and just kinda brute forces an ending in the last book. Some of his other books are pretty good too, especially House of Suns and Pushing Ice I enjoyed.
