So right now I am self learning physics using online courses meant for self study like those on edX. But there are not too many physics courses, only those up until quantum II from MIT. Of course I want to continue studying after quantum, but I will have to use textbooks and open course wares. Textbooks are my biggest issue, I can barely focus after 30min of reading. I'm not even sure if I learn from all that reading.
So what are the most effective ways to learn from physics textbooks?
I understand that practice problems are very important and i can pirate schaum's 3000 solved problems in physics and use OCW's problem sets
