>>11985490>leeching ATP from hostI'm not a bio major, but I'm pretty sure ATP is not readily available as any other energy-producing substance you would find in the blood, since it is produced intracellularly and consumed as quick as there is demand for it. Also is easily metabolized.
An anaerobic way to support this creature, however, is through lipids. The issue is how this monster purges lactic acid fast enough to prevent fatal acidosis.
