So a couple years ago I was administered the WAICS test by my shrink and he told me that I scored somewhere in the 130-140 range...however,a couple weeks ago I wanted to join mensa and on the entry exam I only scored 128. Which test is more valid?

I would like this question answered as well. I can understand the difference between an IQ of 85 and 115 for example, but is there a discernible difference between two scores like 128 and 130?

That's within that test's standard deviation.
You should have a sheet where this is pretty clearly written down with the rest of the scores from the battery.
Long story short you're likely just in the 130ish region and there's a bit of room for error, and on another day you scored slightly lower for whatever reason but nothing really abnormal at all.

Thank you. I also want to add that I have recently been diagnosed with hebephrenia (disorganized schizophrenia) which significantly delays my responses and twists the way in which I think...think of it like a dementia...or a degenerative brain disorder
