Do other animals get impacted teeth too or does that only happen to humans? And why does that happen to humans I don't get it, did prehistoric humans just "deal with it" whenever it happened to them?

its mostly just a human thing, happens because jaw has gotten smaller because of diet changes with cooking and agriculture and all that providing less need for strong chewing muscles
