Or do you mean applied in businesses? Then.. you still need to know some maths. You can just randomly click on submenus in a stats package like SAS/SPSS/Stata/EViews but you have to be knowledgeable enough to interpret the results (and whether you can interpret them at all, so assumptions/asymptotical convergence/etc.)
Stats is also a requirement for any serious ML/data science position, and those are paid well.
Your image has little to do with real statistics (it's descriptive statistics at the high school level). As long as you know calculus + linear algebra + probability (and some real analysis/measure theory), you will progress in stats without problems, so don't worry.
