>>11979040Assuming you did everything you were supposed to do (show up to class, turn in homework, etc.), be open about your shortcomings, ask for leniency, offer to do some sort of extra credit, and don’t come off as if you expect the prof will give you what you want. If your grade is the consequence of your own laziness, do the same thing, but be even more humble and open about your shortcomings. If it genuinely is your fault, include a plan on how to avoid such an occurrence in the future.
