Hi all, I am someone who has apparently forgotten all the science I learned in school, pleased to meet you.

I have a small car FM transmitter I wish to keep in my vehicle year-round, though of course, the vehicle gets very hot inside.

Would keeping it in an Altoids tin can help repel some of the heat, helping to protect it and its internal battery? Or would it actually have the opposite effect?
