>>11973166It depends on where you are applying. if you are interviewing at some three letter agency, the people running the polygraph are experienced interrogators. They aren't scientists or doctors. Do you think you could stand up to interrogation? If you're doing this for some police job you might be able to get by, but it's still a risk.
If you just wait until the incident is far enough in the past you'll feel much better , and your application process will go smoother because you'll be confident of when you stopped smoking. Who cares what your parents think ?
