It's because the government is still under the mistaken impression that you can make long-term profits with soothsaying and they don't want anyone else edging in on their satanic gimmicks such that negative feedback loops are introduced. FYI, you can't make money like that long term; all of it is a negative feedback loop, albeit sometimes one with a large radius of looping. The more you fuck with it, the more you will see the wrong thing, and then you end up where USA is now: about to die, and then after that you end up dead. These people are retarded and they should have pursued a worthwhile endeavor like gardening or killing themselves. If soothsaying worked, they would have seen themselves soothsaying too much and it leading to calamity for them. If it worked, then what happened to all the soothsayers of days long gone? It works a little in short term so the baboon-minded crowds of mental midgets who do it, such as the scientologists, reach a a conclusion "Oh it works," while failing to actualize the higher thought process about how it working right now is different from it working in general. Ingo Swann wrote this book Purple Fables with a story about a school for psychics in it. It was pretty based. Stuff like that goes over the heads of mental midgets even though the gist of the fable is pretty obvious.
