Why do so many scientists, who are supposedly intelligent, seem to be logical positivists? Positivism has been dismantled entirely and is not a valid philosophy? It has been entirely shredded last century, it has no ground to stand on anymore.

I state this as a dictum: If you are a positivist, you are not intelligent, regardless of your supposed "accomplishments". There has never been a scientist who has actually found a profound result or furthered their field, who is a positivist. With this being the case, why do so many middling scientists fall for this outdated and low intelligence "philosophy"? And why do so many of you on this board (who are not actually intelligent and do not actually produce valuable work or results in any field), adhere to this epistemology?
