It will end when the public stop being cowards and insist on being allowed to live their lives, it will end when the worlds' governments realise their economies have been devastated and that work must resume. It will end when the elderly and vulnerable, many of whom had months to live anyway, all die off, causing deaths to plummet, and society is better for it.
