I know it originated from the balkan region, and that it’s widespread in Europe despite not being the dominant R type, lending to the idea that it spread from colonizers. I know that there have been many notable historical figures with this type, such as (allegedly) Napoléon, Hitler, the Wright brothers, and some more. I also read on a conspiracy site that it has some correlation to nimrod in ancient times, and the cult of saturn.
