Even getting a massage entices a certain emotional bond, mainly trust. This is nothing that comes "natural" in american culture.
In many countries where prostitution has a somewhat respected position, a prostitute is most of the time not considered a dirty hooker as seen in many movies. It's a close bond requiring a lot of trust on either side.
If you don't have that, you get shit like patrons killing or hookers robbing their customers. It's a mental sickness that's transmitted through culture.
