One meta thread allowed per board

Could mods stop deleting threads that discuss philosophical questions? There's strong correlation between philosophy and science, and even though science is a subset of philosophy, you still need to be aware of your philosophical worldviews when you engage in any academic discussion. Deleting philosophy threads here is like deleting video game programming threads on /v/.

Lastly, there's no other fitting board for philosophy discussion. /his/ isn't it, as you can see by looking at the topics discussed there - mostly history and /pol/-lite. /lit/ is focused on literature in general.
