No, It will mostly be what remains of the clinical videos: general surgery, vascular surgery and nephrology (and some QBanks about USMLE 1).

The specializations system in Italy suck, I'm thinking about going to France or Spain: I'm pretty sure it sucks there too but at least you can enter in the actual specialization courses, here more than half of those who tries don't make it and there's not really much you can do without a specialization

Here it is, ladies (kek, sure) and gentlemen: my last Lecturio post (for a little while).
I uploaded all the non-clinic and clinic courses I have; admittedly, the collection is not complete: it lacks the calculus course (which didn't interest me) and some lectures of ginecology.

The MD at the ER should've done neurological tests, so if he/she didn't request a CT and found the neurological tests alright, be cool. A skull fracture is not exactly bad unless it's either compressing or badly displaced, or at the base of the skull, in which case, it's not going to be pretty for anyone involved.

What makes you want to go into nursing? More pointless roles are being waved off to nurses, it's bullshit. I had to be part-kitchen staff, part-orderly, part-security, part-housekeeper, part-sitter, part-maintenance, etc. when I was a bedside nurse. Granted, workload, nurse role, and nurse-to-patient ratio depend on the unit. Your medical team, coworkers and hospital management also matter in whether or not you enjoy going to work.
Don't go paractical/vocational nursing. I find LPN/LVNs to be quite under-educated, and they tend to make a lot of mistakes and/or poor decisions.

I'm in the boat as you. I'm an RN-BScN wanting to make the switch to medicine. While it may be a bit of an advantage with prior clinical experiences, the only thing admissions really cares about is what your science prerequisite grades are, if they were completed within the past 5 years, your MCAT score and your references. They could care less about whether you were a nursing or physics major in college.
You also definitely don't learn as much as a physician in nursing school. So while you may think it will boost your interest in medicine, nursing schools essentially give a watered down education in medicine, and you either learn more by job experience or doing continuing education.
In all honesty, I've been a nurse for 7 years now, and I've been warned that I may have to redo most the bio, calc, chemistry and physics courses I did as prerequisites or as an electives in uni done over 4-5 years ago. I like the clinical experience I got, but I'm wishing I just did my degree then jumped straight into med school if I'll have to re-do everything.
That's my warning anyway if you plan to work for a while, then start the med school process.

1)concrete takes 1 month to cure, and at its fastest 1 week before building can commence. 3days clearing + 7 days curing, its clear a 10 day hospital will fall to shit within a year
2)the planning and approval are obviously done beforehand. As if a design could be produced within that timeframe
3)the materials were produced already. Prefabs can be erected generally within a month, so its not unreasonable to erect one within ten days with that many workers.

Reasonable time for a hospital is a few years, its a seriously complex building.
Improvising icus, its pretty much outlined in youre video, you need negative pressure and more or less airtight rooms and multiple layers to prevent spread of corona. In australia i think we used shipping containers at one point and an arena as a backup, but my states canned that noe that we have 0 cases. I think sensationalism is overshooting this pandemic. Its bad but its not a case of dramatic bass music playing bad. I think some countries are using med students, if youre refering to the us of ayylmao its more political reasons than anything.

The fact that ICU requires antimicrobial air filters, idolated spaces for each patient, vacuum systems, regulated temperatures, tight sealing on each cubicle, dozens of layers of in-wall tubes and so on.
Improvising this kind of network is retarded expensive and the technical aspect makes it not as useful as an actual ICU.

You can't just 'instruct' clinical experience of dealing with serious patients and acting fast in emergencies, how to work with all the ICU tech and machines, the protocols and dosages of ICU-specific treatments, or how to intubate and place central lines to the average pleb physician in a week or two, let alone a med student who's never even touched a patient.
Same with nurses, I don't know how it is in first world countries, but certainly in mine there's a massive gap of skill between ICU nurses and other generic nurses.

Regardless, I don't know this specifically for steroids, but typically the drugs being expired just means that the pharma company only paid for that much testing time to guarantee the effect and be able to legally state that shelf life; and if it's past that, then it's either still good, or just loses some of it's potency at worst - it doesn't suddenly turn toxic.
But again, maybe there's something different about steroids.

hello medfags i meed advice
i am taking doxycycline hyclate for acne but it is giving me acid reflux. i have read people on line saying it gave them life long stomach problems even after they stopped taking it. i also saw that doxycycline monohydrate can have less symptoms than hyclate
i have an appointment tomorrow, should i ask my doctor to reduce the dosage, change to monohydrate, or drop the medication entirely?

if it's really that bad, tell your GP and ask him to prescribe PPIs(or buy them yourself)

I had a head MRI done earlier and the technician told me to keep perfectly still but I'm paranoid that I may have somehow moved and ruined the scan. Would she have told me if anything was wrong? I don't wanna sit through that again.
