>>11955991A high IQ doesn't matter if you don't do anything with it. IQ tests in general have problems with standardization which means that people who fall outside of the intended group will do much worse, but this won't actually predict how successful they will be.
One classic example of this was when an IQ was given to people who were living in tribes, they gave a vastly different answer to the intended answer, but when asked to explain their reasoning, it showed that the logic they used was different, but still made sense in the context of their environment.
