It depends. It depends on your uni programme for undergrads, and it depends on what you're working with for postgrads and people in industry. In my uni, at least, engineering programmes are incomparably harder than CS.

Some programs probably are. Most CS programs that outside top 25 are not.
Also keep in mind that low skill floor in a lot of CS programs doesn’t mean it has a low skill ceiling. That is, the *baseline* CS degree is probably easier at most undergrads, but the people doing honors and grad classes smoke most stem majors, as do those people of comparable skill in other majors.

No. At my school CS is brainlet garbage. The CS classes I took as electives were retard day care and even then 10% of the class failed it.

CS is theory heavy. Lots of math to learn and theories to understand.

Basic engineering is straight forward with minimal rules.
