We were taught this in schools. Blue eyes are from having no melanin in the iris. If a population lives in little sunlight environment over extendeded periods of time, I argue the population would just SLOWLY develop lighter eyes rather than 1 guy with blue eyes from 10,000 years ago passing this gene to millions in Europe.
