Would a microwave system be efficient or useful for home heating?

The only information I've been able to gather from google is about directly heating humans with microwaves - which seems to be bunk.
But I haven't been able top find any information on using a microwave to heat water in a traditional boiler setup - instead of combustion or electrical resistance.

Would that be viable?
