Our thoughts are entirely predictable (thus meaning predetermined). They are not spontaneous; as that is the only other option.

How so? In short, everything in the Universe is bound by causality. It’s a fundamental law of the universe.

Nothing random can ever happen, as Causality dictates only ONE outcome can and will only ever happen due to the already-set preceding factors which led up to it (these factors were caused by more set cause-and-effects prior and so on.. etc)

That’s why things happens, whilst other things didn’t happen. They weren’t ever really possible.

Now… Our brain only relies on external stimuli to generate thought. This is a known fact. All you have come to know and think single-handedly comes from the external stimuli of your environment leading up until the present. Without color, you’d not be able to think of it, for example. Nothing else influences us. Nothing spontaneous comes of it.

Because our minds are not spontaneous, the laws of causality which dictate our environment in turn fully influence our thoughts and actions. Everything you’ve seen and heard shaped you. Therefore, your brain followed suite and acted accordingly to that which was all it ever knew.

This will play out into the future.

Yes, your thoughts are based on a predetermined universe. Subsequently, your thoughts and actions become part of this equation.
