Think Euclids elements has only 13 volumes? Think again, the first english translation, Henry Billingsley in fact contained 16 volumes, the last tomb added by a believe a french geometer named Flussus, hard to find info on this genious ( maybe his name is francois du fois?) not sure the spelling francais.
