It means mass contains a lot energy. So much so, nuclear weapons are a thing and they are very inefficient. Yes, the most powerful human weapon of all time is nothing compares to the energy in a a given mass. If your 340 lb body was turned into pure energy you could destroy your entire state and maybe a good portion of the south west panhandle.
