If you have enough money, it seems reasonable for a person to make some glowing bacteria in their own home, it would just cost thousands of dollars for the equipment and relatively little payoff, and if you've never had training, you'd probably go through multiple sets of reagents, costing another few thousand. Still do-able, though. But yeah, no glowing humans or super babies.
>>11943005But really though just look it up dude, CRISPR-Cas9 has been widely in use for over a decade now, it's incredibly well-documented and you'll get far better explanations on google than on here. You'll need a basic understanding of genetics and molecular biology first, though.
