Getting good at mathematics

No.11940555 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hey Sci, I've started a CS/Econs degree this year and have really been enjoying the mathematics that I've had to learn as part of the degree.

I'm concerned though that my course won't cover enough mathematics and I wanted to study it more as well as logic outside of my degree.

Is there any reading lists and general advice you guys can offer me?

To give some context on my ability, while I wasn't a bad student in HS I wasn't a good one either. In my final years i went full into arts subjects (History, Literature, Pol, etc.) and did the easy maths course. Never have been very good at arithmetic, never properly learnt the times-tables off by heart.

I was interested in pursuing Computational Economics in some capacity after Uni so any advice on what i should specifically for that would also be greatly appreciated.

Should I fuck off and take this to /adv/? Just asking here since it seems like your speciality.
