>is quantum/Multiverse immortality a real scientific?last I checked, it was mathematically true, but because of the implication that realities are infinite, and by nature untestable, many (but not all!) scientists don't accept it yet. Math has been a very valuable tool in the past in relation to physics, so it IS a possibility. We will never know for sure though, unless we are somehow able to access dimensions higher than our 3 spatial and 1 time. Its a fun thought experiment but shouldn't be treated as fact yet.
>but HOW does it work? Its very complicated and I won't insult you by pretending to understand fully. Even though this is a video on the Joe Rogan podcast, its explained by Sean Carroll, who is a very respected quantum physicist
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJwUd53-dZ8>how does one escape quantum torment?Even if the multiverse theory and quantum suicide are both true, there is no way to know that "your" consciousness would transfer to another universe. This is more of a philosophical question, not a scientific one, and you would likely get a better answer of /lit/ (if an answer even exists)
>how does one survive heat death?to "survive" heat death, you would need to be able to constantly generate energy to keep entropy going. As far as we know, there is nothing that can generate energy infinitely. Therefore, in our current models, "surviving" heat death is currently impossible.
