Can PTSD give you symptoms even if you zero memory or flashbacks of things that happened? Didn't know I was diagnosed with it, as well as GAD, SAD and OCD, until last year when I found some documents my mom had. No one ever told me growing up that I had these problems and I never thought about why I saw all these therapists at school because it started when I was so young that it was just normal to me.

Now I found more documentation my mom has about all of the legal shit with my dad trying to get him to pay child support I have vague memories of them fighting all the time when I was little, but was really taken aback when I saw some paper about him circling me with a butcher knife while I was in bed when I was 5, stabbing my mom and testing positive for cocaine after the cops came.

I was surprised last year to see the PTSD diagnosis but seeing stuff like that, that I have no memory of at all, makes this shit make more sense.. Really wondering if this is why no antidepressants or anti anxiety meds seem to work for me. I'm always tired, can't concentrate or remember shit and just feel stressed all the time by default, meds just don't help.
