Scientifically speaking, is it possible to modify your voice without technological equipment?

I have a very feminine voice which makes me immediately unattractive. I'd like to have a deeper, more masculine voice. Can this be trained?

Intentionally speaking with a deeper voice only made me hoarse so far but had no long-lasting effects.
