Yes but it's consciousness is a very alien concept to us humans, it would be really really weird to be a plant, it must have some very crazy perceptions about the world around them given that they don't possess neurons like mammals do.

Chemical signaling. One plant gets partially eaten, it'll release chemicals to surrounding plants notifying the danger. "conscious" would imply an individual plant has the ability to think, which is wrong, but an entire field of plants can essentially "think" through this signaling. In Africa, in times of drought, certain plants when eaten will make themselves toxic as a defense mechanism, and they can also notify vast acres of their species and make them toxic as well.

Okay, interesting post anon. But can some humans be as sentient as plants (Same cognitive and intelligence as plants)? Like for example: Coma patients, vegatative state patients and cognitive disabilities?

plants chatter but its different. like a tree feels bad because its over grown limb might break and its kind of bitching and then you trim it and its happy and feels better. other times grass feels like its to dry or any plant thinks its way to hot they chatter. they dont gab it up its like in unison we are to hot assuming they are. trees tend to ignore most of the small stuff and dont mind temp as much usually

however sometimes they dont know what the fuck is going on. like last year and this year winter dragging on at night confused the fuck out of them. do you grow flowers? is it time yet? pollen now or later? almost killed all the bees last year

no they are pretty much like people but they dont see the world like humans because they dont have eyes and they like things we dont care about. a hazel tree in my back yard loves the fire pit that cardboard is burned in and a trace amount of potassium hydroxide was deposited into the soil from and this giant pile of wood shavings from the planer. all that shit is hardwood. hardwood equals potassium. so the shavings that are just in a pile near it get rained on over and over for like half a year and the hazel tree is like yea im doing pretty good this year

mean while the acorn tree in the front yard kind of has it rough and constantly wonders if he wasted his pollen this year (i say that but it was only thinking it a couple times this year but its more often than i usually hear it bring it up). neither has a counterpart in the yard or any nearby yards.

Plants can perceive and react to environmental conditions, so on some level they are aware.
