Even if it was possible to build, a dyson sphere would be an absolutely pointless construction because stars /are stars/ due to the Birkeland currents flowing to them and powering them (they are not internally powered). Building a shell around a star, enclosing the star within the shell and sealing it off, would cut off the stars power supply and cause the star to cease to exist. It wouldn't shine any longer - /it would no longer be a star/. Hence the entire dyson sphere would be utterly pointless.
You would be much better off trying to build some huge (star size or even larger) structure which can harness energy directly from the cosmic Birkeland currents.
